Day 51, Scarf 51: Canada Strikes Gold!

Today Canada won it's first gold on Canadian soil! I had to knit a scarf in honour of this achievement and so I knitted a black scarf with a colourful gold ribbon running through it. Go Canada Go!

Day 48, Scarf 48: Rosy

After a day of excitement as I watched the Olympic Torch Relay with all 400 students at my school, I came home to knit a rosy pink scarf. The scarf reminds me of the rosy cheeks on the faces of all of those children and the torch runners. What a great day!

Day 47, Scarf 47: Sleepy Skies

Today's scarf was knitted with yarn donated by my good friend Shannon. These are just two of the many blue shades of yarn she donated. She came over yesterday with an enormous bag and a Dairyland crate full of yarn. I am so thankful to have such a great friend!

This scarf is called "Sleepy Skies" because I was feeling completely exhausted and ready for bed while knitting these lovely sky-like colours.

Day 46, Scarf 46: Faded Rainbow Bright

The soft pastel rainbow shades in the scarf made me think back to my favourite cartoon character as a child, Rainbow Bright! I actually started this scarf early in the morning before going to work...I feel like I'm actually starting to get ahead of myself!

Day 45, Scarf 45: Fuzzy Wuzzy

This scarf was made with the fuzzy black and white yarn. Abby wanted to play with the yarn the whole time I was knitting but somehow I managed to ward her off and get the scarf done!
